Duo Passerelles

Passerelles is a duo formed by Colombian saxophonist Sebastián Sarasa and Brazilian pianist Henrique Cantalogo. Their music aims to build bridges between contemporary music, jazz, and traditional Latin American music through original compositions and improvisations.

After meeting during their Master’s program in Improvisation and Creation at the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne (PSPBB), Duo Passerelles recorded two albums entirely dedicated to improvisation: Traces (2020) and Un Lac (2022). In 2024, the duo carried out a year-long composition residency at the Conservatoire de Noisy-le-Sec (France), where a new set of original pieces was created.
